I finally achieved one of my goals which was to be able to produce my own fine writing instruments. It has taken several years of preperation and lot’s of help from various family members to affoard the hardware to do it. The result is that I can finally make pens!
The next step is coming up with some sort of gimic or upgrade which will take the pens to the next level of quality and of course that will require that I become an expert and turning on a lathe. I’ve already got my hardware and chemicals to do my own gold electro-plating. I will eventually build a small foundry so that I can cast my own pen parts or emblems.
