Our scrappy House Finch

Our new bird feeder is attracting all varieties of birds better than I had expected.

This House Finch was a little skittish until I finally managed to sneak to the feeder and snap some photos.

This one includes an action shot of a Black Capped Chickadee on approach, his talons ready to grasp the bird feeder perch.

The House Finch seems a little picky in what he chooses to eat. I see seed sputtering through the air when he’s on the perch.

More food for the Doves to eat off of the ground.
