I successfully created my first time lapse movie using my Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I needed to get some additional software from Canon. Check my other article which details how to get the software from the Canon website.
The great news is that now I can make ultra Hight Defenition movies. But now I run into a storage space issue possibly on the laptop and also need to come up with a good way to extend the battery life on the camera and the laptop.
Anyway, I had to down res the video from 1280 X 720 which would be HD 720p so that it would fit in the web page. But trust me..the source video looks really clear an sexy.
On with the show.

So I've been trying to figure out how to get my XTI to do time lapse as well, but haven't figured it out. I think I have pretty much everything downloaded and updated as well from Canon.
How did you enable time lapse? |

You can do this a few different ways. One is to purchase a timer which fires the shutter at increments.

Which canon software do you need? EOS utility? ZoomBrowser?

I used EOS Utility. I have since made many more time lapse with my canon slr using EOS utility and a few opensource apps to put them together.
