My Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2 laptop finally kicked the bucket but fortunately I had a warranty in place so I was able to get the parts to replace it.

I made a little video and then also took some photos of the teardown as the repair tech did his thing.

The video card was the cause of the problems but Dell saw fit to replace the motherboard as well. I would have liked to upgrade the processor if possible and the video card to the nVidia 7800 but I had to go with replacement parts and not upgraded parts.
