Prickley Pear Furry Cuffs

texas_prickly_pearsI was moving my Bonsai (not Banzai) trees and accidentally grazed a native Texas cactus (produces delicious Prickly Pears). The fine needles stuck to me like sweaty thighs on leather upholstery.

After trying to pluck them out one by one we came to the conclusion that the only solution was to SHAVE THE ARM! I couldn’t just walk around with one shaved arm so I shaved both. While I was at it I fashioned these lovely “Furry-Cuffs” for myself and strutted around with them before I was forbidden to keep them on any longer.

I’m sure you can just imagine my cuffs tickling your nose.
