We have officially started the construction of our house. In this short time lapse video, which takes place over about a 2 hour period, you can see the process of pouring the footings for the foundation. It’s basically a large solid concrete wall which they will later pour a slab of concrete on top of. Initially the entire void inside of the footing walls is filled with compacted sand.
